ACCENT Engineering
ACCENT, the Atlantic Canada Consulting Engineering Team, is building an
impressive portfolio of oil and gas projects in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
Incorporated in 1997, the partnership was an instant success for the
consulting engineering firms that have joined forces as
ACCENT Engineering Consultants Inc.

In the year of its inception, ACCENT was awarded both the offshore and onshore design support contracts for SOEP (Sable Offshore Energy Project). Employees of CBCL Limited and Stantec had all acquired prior project experience on Eastern Canada's earlier offshore discoveries, at Hibernia, Panuke and Cohasset. Since then, the firms' complementary core strengths have put ACCENT in a position to consistently meet the demanding needs of the offshore oil and gas sector in Atlantic Canada. In 2002, the prestigious Lieutenant-Governor's Award for Excellence in Engineering was awarded to ACCENT for the detailed engineering design of Sable’s Natural Gas Liquids Fractionation Plant in Point Tupper.

ACCENT has provided operational and maintenance engineering support services for all ExxonMobi Canada's, formerly SOEI (Sable Offshore Energy Inc.), onshore and offshore facilities, resulting from a four-year Engineering Services Contract awarded in March 2000. The ACCENT engineering consortium has also worked, in joint venture with Saipem Energy International of London, UK, on a value engineering phase for EnCana. having completed the front-end engineering design (FEED) study for the Deep Panuke project. ACCENT was contracted to provide preliminary engineering services in connection with the design of the onshore facilities for the proposed El Paso Blue Atlantic Transmission System project.
